Gah!

News about my hand (and my ability to write and RP)!

I now have an appointment with a hand surgeon (fuck me, right?) on Monday and the permission to go see a physiotherapist. I'll continue to be on sick leave for at least another two weeks and after that we'll see if I'm OK to go back to work again..

Till then, I'll try and not to put too much strain on my wrist.. Which roughly translates to not being on my laptop so much. But we'll see. Without work AND my laptop, I'll probably go mad. So expect very little RP (if I can be a good girl and not be around) or very sporadic and incoherent replies.

I'm starting to consider just gnawing off my arm to get rid of this pain.. I can be the next Captain Hook!

I'm a twenty-something girl who's been playing Pop(o)mundo almost since the dawn of time. September 2006, six years and still counting!

Despite being slow from time to time and taking breaks from RPing (especially when it comes to my more challenging characters), I've grown very attached to each and every puppet of mine. They are a way of doing what I love; writing.

I'd say usually the blog is filled with my aimless rambling, whining, and such, but even the complete OOC ones are usually somehow related to my RP - or the lack thereof. All important updates regarding my chars are definitely posted here rather than writing separate OOC blogs in the game.

..roleplay.

I'm a sucker for narrative RP, there's no question about that. Past tense, present tense, long ones, short ones; I'm in. I do occasionally enjoy the *action* based RP too - especially on those nights when I'm feeling particularly lazy. But for me, narrative RP is a way to get even deeper into the character, a way to play what's going on in the character's heads too rather than depicting only the physical actions.

Though I do try to make compromises and adapt to which ever style my RP partners prefer. Unless I have the chance to convince people to pick up narrative RP, of course..
