Catching up? Hopefully!

Oh my. I'm actually tempted to ditch this blog here and start it all over again like she did. Her new site looks uh-maaazing.

I shouldn't, though. I've had this one forever now and I'm still not finished! Can't even imagine how long it would take if I had to re-write everything..

Oh well. It's my first day off in a week, I just finally finished my exams last night.. It's time to catch up with my RP! I've barely touched me character's inboxes since I've been back at work. Only some of Izzie's have been answered and it's now time to focus on the rest of my lot too.

I'm really starting to wonder..

Despite being slow from time to time and taking breaks from RPing (especially when it comes to my more challenging characters), I've grown very attached to each and every puppet of mine. They are a way of doing what I love; writing.

I'd say usually the blog is filled with my aimless rambling, whining, and such, but even the complete OOC ones are usually somehow related to my RP - or the lack thereof. All important updates regarding my chars are definitely posted here rather than writing separate OOC blogs in the game.

..roleplay.

I'm a sucker for narrative RP, there's no question about that. Past tense, present tense, long ones, short ones; I'm in. I do occasionally enjoy the *action* based RP too - especially on those nights when I'm feeling particularly lazy. But for me, narrative RP is a way to get even deeper into the character, a way to play what's going on in the character's heads too rather than depicting only the physical actions.

Though I do try to make compromises and adapt to which ever style my RP partners prefer. Unless I have the chance to convince people to pick up narrative RP, of course..
