Problem

I've realized I have a problem. I spend way too much time picking the songs I sometimes link to my characters' blogs! I don't just pick songs I like, I reject the ones that don't go just perfectly with the tone of the blog and the situation my chars find themselves in. Each blog has a reason behind it, and each song is the same.

Way too often I find myself searching for the lyrics just so there isn't something that doesn't fit - or just to make sure I've understood the meaning of the song correctly.

Ffs.

I should seek help.

This is a story I know. Same goes for what version/recording/video/live that I decide to use. :P

Despite being slow from time to time and taking breaks from RPing (especially when it comes to my more challenging characters), I've grown very attached to each and every puppet of mine. They are a way of doing what I love; writing.

I'd say usually the blog is filled with my aimless rambling, whining, and such, but even the complete OOC ones are usually somehow related to my RP - or the lack thereof. All important updates regarding my chars are definitely posted here rather than writing separate OOC blogs in the game.

..roleplay.

I'm a sucker for narrative RP, there's no question about that. Past tense, present tense, long ones, short ones; I'm in. I do occasionally enjoy the *action* based RP too - especially on those nights when I'm feeling particularly lazy. But for me, narrative RP is a way to get even deeper into the character, a way to play what's going on in the character's heads too rather than depicting only the physical actions.

Though I do try to make compromises and adapt to which ever style my RP partners prefer. Unless I have the chance to convince people to pick up narrative RP, of course..
